Welcome to year 9

Year 9 provides an environment where the children are able to focus on their own academic progress but also access time when they can grow socially and emotionally in order to prepare them for life outside of school.

The work that the children take part within the Year 9 classes builds upon their existing knowledge and drives them forward to learn more through different channels of learning.

Learning is important to us in Year 9, so we approach lessons in different ways to meet each child's specific needs.

The Year 9 classes are ones where we believe it is important to believe that forming strong working relationships is key to the working of the classroom. We understand our students interests and try to tie these into a range of activities.
